As most of you know Debbie can't resist the opportunity to be with children whenever she can. Here you see her with the kids at an orphanage she likes to visit in her "spare" time! This is located about 8km (5 miles) from our house. You can take a taxi to the road leading to the orphanage driveway then walk a mile and a half to the orphanage itself.

The elephant dance is a traditioal dance of the Bakweri Tribe and was used to bring unity to the tribe. It was also performed before the hunting of the elephants in the area. Another reason for the dance was to "call" the elephants to destroy the home and or crops of those who needed to be punished because they might have committed a crime against one of the members of the tribe. The dance was created by a woman, though is only performed by the men.
